Kubitschek Plaza Hotel

Address: SHN Quadra 2 - Bloco E
Phones: (61)3319-3543

The Kubitschek Plaza is owned and operated by the same group which controls Manhattan Plaza Hotel.
The name is a tribute to ex-President Juscelino Kubitschek, but the family has no known participation in the hotel.

Kubitschek and Manhattan are located in front of to each other; the front of Kubitschek overlooks the back of Manhattan.
The rooms of Manhattan afford a better view of the Three Powers Square.

Kubitschek Plaza claims to be one of the few hotels in Brasilia to have earned an ISO 9002 Certificate.
This is a five star hotel, with 17 floors and 389 rooms. Rooms are categorized in Standard, Luxury, Diamantina (a reference to the birth city of Juscelino) and one Kubitschek suite (often occupied by artists, Presidents or Prime-Ministers).
Amenities include swimming pool, dry and wet saunas, fitness center and an Aesthetic Center, with massotherapy and facial treatments.
The hotel offers six convention rooms and two restaurants.

During the Confederations Cup 2013, the Delegation of Japan stayed at Kubitschek.
It is very likely that Kubitschek will host some teams in 2014, during the World Cup in Brasilia.
